Eddyline’s base camp is located in Campertogno in the Upper Sesia Valley, in a characteristic and picturesque Alpine village, at an altitude of approximately 850 metres above sea level.
It is situated in a wide green pasture on the banks of the Sesia River, on an island connected to the town by a ford open to vehicles or an iron bridge, sharing the area with the “Il gatto e la volpe” campsite and restaurant/pizzeria and the “Cà dal Cros” lodge.
There is also a football pitch with flood lighting, tennis court, beach volley, table tennis. A few minutes’ walk away, there is a rock face with permanent anchors for sports climbing and the departure point of various walking, hiking and MTB routes.
All this enables you to reach Eddyline, park your car and forget urban stress, until your departure.
You can do the outdoor river and land activities provided by Eddyline and in your free time chill out in the bar, chatting to your trip companions.
The town of Campertogno offers tourists: two hotels (2 and 4 stars), three restaurants, a theatre with a summer cinema programme, a bed & breakfast, six bars (two of which open for the summer season), a newsagents/tobacconist, a food shop selling local specialities, a butcher/general store and a laboratory of local artisanal wooden articles.
